Design Focus: Paul Case Furniture

by Katie Treggiden in Bespoke stories

Previously, Paul Case’s chic furniture was only available to those willing to pay bespoke prices. But his company’s new pre-made range makes it much more accessible.

This year, for the first time, Paul Case Furniture appeared at Decorex, the professionals’ interior-design show. The company was launching its first pre-made range, the Spyder Collection.

Until now it’s specialised in bespoke furniture for architects, interior designers and private clients. But the ready-made collection has already been shortlisted for the 2012 WoodAward and received a commendation from the godfather of British furniture design, John Makepeace.

All Paul Case Furniture is made in a workshop in Lancashire. As well as being local, the company is eco-friendly, too – waste sawdust and offcuts are recycled as bedding for a local stable and heating for Paul’s family home.
