Description

The Cestone Sofa, designed by Antonio Citterio, emphasises the back and sides - making these the main design feature of the sofa. The often overlooked areas of a sofa are reimagined by Flexform, creating the back and sides from woven strips of cowhide. Once formed the strips form a checkerboard pattern that mean that the sofa can be enjoyed from any angle, especially when placed in the centre of a room. The low backrest and the large, deep plump seat cushions give the sofa a relaxed feel, and it is available in many configurations. Tables are also available within the Cestone range, and the tables are fastened to the sofa becoming integral to their design and structure. Composed of a metal frame and base with leather back and sides, the Cestone Sofa is available in a wide variety of fabrics and colours.
