Description

The Drop Rug as you'll be able to tell on closer inspection is inspired by the fascinating rings formed when a drop of water enters a pool of stagnant water. Out of the disturbance of perfection comes something even more beautiful and that's exactly what is meant by this piece. The designer was inspired throughout childhood by smooth silent lake transforming entirely by a mere drop. They believed that something so small could create a work of art. The subtle carving techniques employed in this rug bring this process to life, mimicking the gentle dynamic change as the ripples spread out to the edges of the rug.
