Poet Sofa
The perfect addition to any modern home, this piece, named the Poet Sofa, was designed by Finn Juhl in 1941. With clear design inspiration from surrealistic art, this sofa was one of his experiments deisgned for use in his own home but cabinatemaker Neils Vodder presented this piece at the Cabinatemakers Guild Exhibition the very same year. The stunning piece of furniture earned its nickname when it appeared in the romantic Danish film "The Poet and his Wife". Inspired by 'free art', today this piece represents a part of rich Danish cultural history, and features values that are rare to find in these days of fleeting fancies. The Poet is made with the finest manufacturing standards - hand-sewn upholstery, beautifully woven material, and its legs are available in teak, oak and walnut.
