Description

The thick deep proportions of the Francis Sofa bring a sense of comfort to the strict geometry of its design. The large seat seems to sit directly on the ground thanks to a wooden platform that is barely visible. There are no armrests, in their place the backrest seems to extend and curve around the seat creating two 'wings'. The backrest features upright stitching that adds detail to the otherwise clean and simple design. Francis is a collection of linear sofas that are also available in large configurations. The frame is made in wood, padded with polyurethane and Dacron, which sits on a solid wood base in ashwood, wenge or ebony. The seat can be upholstered in non-removable fabric or leather covers in a variety of shades.
