Description

Following the success of the Groundpiece Sofa that revolutionised how we think about and use a sofa, comes the Groundpiece Bed. The large, padded frame surrounds the matress, and it is lifted from the floor with unique 'feet' that are made of 3cm diameter tubular metal that is epoxy-powder coated, which run the full width of the bed at the head and the foot. The frame and headboard share the same chunky dimensions, and both are made in wood with polyurethane padding that can be upholstered in either fabric or leather. The cowhide covered metal elements that the Groundpiece Sofa is known for, are transformed into bedside tables for the bed. These handy nightstands are made in the same metal structure that is covered with hide leather, and come in Russian red, white, olive, black, dark brown, dark brown extra, grey, sand and tobacco. They are also available in suede in black, dark brown, olive and sand.
