Description

The Groundpiece Sofa is the unrivaled bestseller from the Italian brand Flexform. By re-conceptualising what people want and need from their furniture, Flexform created the Groundpiece Sofa, a modular item with interchangeable parts that combine to create a functional and personal piece for any room. The comfortable, deep seat is low to the ground, and creates a relaxed atmosphere. Low metal storage units covered in cowhide can be inserted around the structure to replace part of the backrest or armrests, transforming that space into a useful surface. The frame is made in metal with a foam polyurethane padding, and the seat cushions are filled with down and a resilient inner core - or with polyurethane and Dacron for a firmer feel. The backrest cushions are down-filled with or without a bolster in Dacron. The feel are made in metal treated with epoxy lacquer, and the upholstery is available in removable fabric or leather covers. 

The bookshelves have a metal frame that is covered in cowhide in Russian red, white, olive, black, dark brown, dark brown extra, grey, sand and tobacco. It is also available in suede in black, dark brown, olive or sand.
