The Inori bookshelf is part of the Inori range, which is made up of several modular units that can be combined to create many different household items, from a wall unit, to a console, to a TV stand. Designed by Setsu and Shinobu Ito for Fiam, the Italian brand that is world-renowned for their creations in curved glass - and the Inori range features wavy glass verticals that divide the interior space of the shelves. The bookcase can be made in many designs, from a traditional rectangular shape, to a pyramid-like stack or even a sloping, triangular form. Combine horizontal shelves - that are available in either wood or in glass - with the curved glass dividers to create the perfect bookcase for your space.
As well as designing the shape and size of the Inori, there are many different materials and finishes to combine to create a custom piece. The base is available smoked glass black back-painted, Extralight white back-painted, Extralight back-silvered, smoked glass black back-painted, glossy lacquered ebony or 'Old Style' oak. The glass shelves are available with a transparent, smoked or Extralight finish, or the wooden shelves come in glossy lacquered ebony or 'old style' oak. The uprights are made in curved glass and come in either transparent, black 95, Extralight, bronze or smoked finish. The accessories are made in black anodised aluminium. The largest base measures 240 cm in length, and the smallest is 120 cm. The shelves vary from just 60 cm long up to 240 cm, and each of the components has a width of 36.5 cm, making the unit of slim and discreet proportions.
