Description

Designed by Tarcisio Colzani for Porada, the Regent 2 Bedside Table is an unusual and striking piece. The frame, made in solid canaletto walnut, has two sets of crossbars that join the four wooden legs. The crossbars at the top hold a single rectangular drawer, which seems to simply rest on the frame, and the bottom crossbars hold a single shelf in smoked glass. The drawer is made to look as though it is freestanding within the frame, and can be made in wood to match, or for a more tactile option it can be upholstered in beautiful leather. The drawer is spacious and has a soft closure for your comfort, whilst also providing ample space on its upper surface for a lamp and other small objects. The shelf below adds further storage and/or display options. The walnut frame can be left natural or stained, or alternatively for a more playful look it can be finished with matt lacquer in a range of colours.
