This beautiful sideboard featuring coloured sliding doors originated from 1955, designed by Finn Juhl for Bovirke. Juhl was consistently inspired by colours and shapes throughout his life, with great interest in surrealist and cubist art - and this piece is a personification of that. Juhl was a pioneer or colour and active element in space, textiles and furniture. The colour elements of this piece in particular reflect his fascination with Goethe's famous colour circle, placing the colours in perfect cohesion. The cubist wood cabinate floads on delicate steel frames with wooden "feet" and in particular, the colours which he arranged throughout the 50s and 60s. This interesting piece is available in teak, oak, walnut and Oregon pine as well as in yellow, red and a range of other colours. The dimensions of this piece stand at W | 150cm, D | 45cm, H | 90cm. The frame of the Juhl Sideboard comprises of hand burnished steel.
