The Sumo Table designed by Ferrucio Laviani is a structural masterpiece in its own league. Choose from a table top in smoked or extra clear glass to emphasise its base elements or choose wood for a more au naturale aesthetic. Pick from the dining version or the low version. Seat guests for a beautifully prepared meal or situate this piece in a commercial environment - it's entirely adaptable. The curved plywood elements of the base are made by layering thin sheets of wood that are coated with high quality glues and lacquers that are then laid carefully into moulds to form their unique winding aesthetic. Glues used in this piece do not contain formaldehyde or toxic solvents and varnishes are certified by Austrian or Italian laboratories guaranteeing great physical and chemical resistance. Emmemobili sources its wood from re-planted trees or uses extremely limited quantities.
