Tabby Armchair
The Tabby Armchair was designed by Gordon Guillaumier for Lema, the Italian brand known for their innovative design and their wonderful craftmanship. The shape of the Tabby is reminiscent of petals, or oragami as the backrest and armrests each have a slightly flared, organic shape. The armrests and backrest are set slightly apart, so that there is an elegant strip of light between the piece that give the chair an intriguing design and a modern feel. The wide, deep seat is a generous space, and each of the pieces that make up the seat is lightly padded for comfort without changing the rigourous nature and contemporary clean lines of the piece. Resting on four wooden legs that are joined by a crossbar in delicate metal rod, the frame adds to the sharp, stylish look of the chair. The seat is available upholstered in either fabric, leather or eco-leather in a wide variety of colours and textures to suit each individual room. The Tabby Armchair is the perfect chair to have around the dining table, in the library or at a desk - bringing comfort and elegance to any space.
