Chelsea

by Hill House Interiors

If ever there was an interior design project inspired by art, Hill House's Chelsea project is it.

The abstract art that flanks the media wall and fireplace have clearly informed the scheme for the entire property. Splashes of white in the asymmetrical, yet similar, artworks give a light to the space, and are echoed in the white sofas. The statement lighting fixture above the coffee table gives a further level of substance to the space, yet not detracting from the drama of the artwork. Although the lighting fixture is grand, tactile and bold, it introduces the first of the neutral tones in the home, somehow forming a bridge between the theatrical essence of the artwork, and the more relaxing tones in the rest of the residence.
