Ennismore Gardens

by Taylor Howes

  • With a brief to create a warm, functional family home with space for formal entertainment, Taylor Howes completely stripped out and reconfigured this five bedroom Georgian flat near Hyde Park
  • This project involved the total strip out and reconfiguration of a five bedroom Georgian flat in Ennismore Gardens.
  • The panelled corridor with bespoke crystal chandeliers linked the formal spaces at the entrance of the flat with the private areas to the rear of the property, with a fully mirrored ‘light box’ with strings of pearl lights cascading from the ceiling delineating to the two in a dramatic fashion.
  • The dilapidated roof terrace was transformed into a bright family room with fantastic views of the Cathedral behind
  • The boy’s bedroom maximised a small space with bespoke bunkbeds, a homework station and a colour changing LED starry sky above.
  • Using soft neutral tones with accents of rich luxurious colour and textures, along with atmospheric lighting, a feeling of elegance is maintained throughout the master bedroom, with the over-scaled quilted headboard providing a sophisticated focal point
