Fitzrovia Apartment

by Oliver Burns

Lighting is key throughout this contemporary apartment. The entrance hall, with its gilt coffered ceiling and oversized chandelier creates an immediate sense of grandeur and a hint of what is to come. In the living area, a grey leather sofa forms the centrepiece and establishes a cool neutral colour palette whilst a statement chandelier above draws the eye. The living space flows seamlessly into the open-plan kitchen where a central island of Cararra marble forms an integrated dining table, illuminated by five crystal pendant lights.

The guest bedroom fuses contemporary with hints of old-fashioned femininity, with discreet flock wallpaper, Swarovski crystals and highlights of old rose. In the master bedroom, a more masculine flavour returns with dark, silvery hues and geometric designs. Fendi bedside tables clad in leather add a touch of organic opulence – in keeping with a home where luxury resides between the sleek and the sensuous.
