Highbury Hill

by Ben Adams Architects

Substantial structural works had to be undertaken to help the client realise their deams for this five-bedroom house in Highbury.

On top of this, the entire house had to be gutted. The result is a spacious yet cosy home, with contemporary, clean lines throughout. This is an excellent exmaple of how a team of architects can provide for a client in a discrete way adhering to function alone, rather than introducing overpowering architectural statements outside of a subtle brief. The result is a stunning open-plan space, which exploits the flexibility of a white wall to create the illusion of further spaciousness.
