Lancelot Place

by Anna Casa Interiors

Oozing with exquisite style, Anna Dodonova's latest project is a contemporary family residence in a brand new building development in Knightsbridge.

Boasting an open-plan living and dining room space and inspiring views of London, Anna has combined contemporary design with the glamour of inner city life. Anna reconfigured the layout of the apartment, adding a walk-in wardrobe, and guest bathroom. To optimise the space, Anna exploited the endless possibilities that come with mirrors and intelligent use of lighting. This allowed her to create the look of high ceilings, and expanded floor space.

Another way Anna made the best use of the space was by incorporating a neutral colour palette with white and ivory tones, dotted with accent colours in the final design flourishes, such a the bold red tones in the bathroom. Colour considerations were not the limit to Anna's design ideas - texture was used to give the home further depth and interest. For example, leather sofas work beautifully to offset the cosiness emitted by the dusty-purple curtains in the living room, and fluffy stools contrast with the sleek metals used for the fireplace.

A sense of harmony characterises this residence, and Anna was able to introduce a serene, calming balance to the home.
