A 2800 sqft apartment in Knightsbridge for a property developer in a classic contemporary style. We carried out build work, completely reconfiguring the space, remodeling all the bathrooms and designing a number of bespoke built in joinery pieces. The joinery included: Beautiful timber cladding in the study, A dark timber feature wall dividing the study and dining area with sliding shoji paneled doors, allowing for an interactive space in which the study can be incorporated into the Main Reception or completely closed off, An interesting feature fireplace in the main reception with bronze detailing.
A large mirrored wall in the entrance hall, which really opened up the space. A framed mirrored wall behind the bed in the Master Bedroom, which really helped to visually increase the size of the room, and create a really glamorous look. There are examples of good use of Carrera marble in the Master Bathroom and kitchen.
The halo lit mirror in the Master Bathroom was a particularly good feature. We wanted to create a light and glamorous space following on from the very elegant master suite. We used polished Statuario marble, which was book matched above the bath. The joinery was in a timber that as stained in a wenge finish which created a bold contrast to the light stone.
We were also instructed to do a complete furnishing package and dress the property for prospective buyers. We commissioned a number of bespoke pieces, including: A beautiful console in the dining area, A large framed wall mirror with a floating shelf that acts as a dressing table, in one of the secondary bedrooms, A polished mahogany headboard, with inset mother of pearl detailing, in the Master Bedroom.
