The project was a full turn-key service for a 200sqm lateral apartment in Mayfair. The brief was to maximise the usable square footage of the property through smart design solutions whilst keeping the element of luxury.
The colour scheme for this project were tones-on-tones of platinum and bronze colours with a pop of deep burnt purple, which is the clients favourite colour.
We added a dark polished plaster finish to the fireplace in the living room to add a contrast element to the colours in the room. Large grey smoke mirrors on both sides of the fireplace created an illusion of a larger space and added brightness to the room.
The main feature in this room is the bespoke display unit, which is our 5mm signature stamp. We love to design bespoke joinery that double up as a piece of art yet functional at the same time. The unit was veneered with a 100% lacquered finish with leather cladded doors and nickel handles.
We opened the kitchen room to create an open space kitchen and dining area. The client requirement was to create a kitchen that ‘does not look like a kitchen’. We designed the kitchen at 5mm and we decided to hand dye the veneer to create a darker bespoke finish. The wall cupboards we full height to add drama to the ambiance. The Kitchen island was sprayed with gunpowder metal finish to add contrast to the dark glossy kitchen units.
The master bedroom colour scheme was in line with the overall look of the project. We used bronze and dark taupe colours to create a cosy feel. We used the same veneer of the living room display unit for the wardrobes.
The master en-suite feature a bronze mirror panelled wall with a free-standing bath.
