Rose Square London

by Roselind Wilson Design

This three-bedroom duplex apartment located in The Bromptons, London, was in need of refurbishment - one that would maintain some ornate traditional design details and support up-to-date technology and appliances.

Imposing high ceilings and larger-than-life gothic cornincing are enhanced by a calm duckegg blue on the living room walls, while a neutral tone comprised of greys, blush tones and marbles flow throughout the other rooms. In keeping with the grandiouse architectural features and proportions, the door heights were enlarged after acquiring planning permission. So too was planning permission required for the bespoke joinery installed to overcome problems with limited storage.

Bespoke features are seen throughout the second home, including plush armchairs in the living room, amongst copious other pieces designed by Roselind Wilson Design. Classical artwork features throughout the home, complete with silk mounts and painted frames.
