Taylor Howes created an appropriately modeish Mediterranean scheme for this 10,000sq ft villa in the South of France, filling it with leisure facilities such as a games room and private cinema.
The quality of natural light in the South of France works beautifully and cohesively with the soft fabrics and pastels throughought, supplemented by pale and whitewashed wooden features. A double-height entrance creates a sense of awe on entry to the residence, oversized, bespoke furniture exploiting the lavish and grand dimensions of the space.
A family residence at its essence, the house features a large playroom, complete with an illuminated world map. Areas for the adult residents includes a large living space, which houses a grand piano, and a bespoke games table.
Karen Howes, founder and Chief Executive, believes that this house feels less like a show-property, and much more like a real home, describing it as calm and relaxed. Other elements of the property include extensive grounds, where you can find tennis courts, a swimming pool with a semi-submerged bar, a vineyard and football pitches.
