A mid-century aesthetic meets Art Nouveau in the innovative use of this 20th century stadium, constructed next to a Moscow reservoir.
The brief was to create a calming spot amongst the hustle and bustle of North Moscow. The floorplan was completley reconfigured from the site's previous function as an office space, with the team raising the ceilings and expanding the space as much as possible.
External influences of the property are some of the most special aspects to the design of the space, including the master bedroom, which is laid out to enable the resident to see the sun reflected in the water on waking. This is not the only way that the designers incorporated the surrounding space into the interiors. The views from the panorama windows inspired the designers' use of materials for the interior space, including the wooden floors and simple painted wallcoverings.
