Wythburn Court

by Base Interior

The difficulty in this project was defining a blueprint from a monolithic, open plan space.

The brief was to reformulate the apartment and interpret the space in a way that made sense of its large rooms and surplus natural light. To do this, Base Interior then created various zones by introducing contemporary furniture and contrasting finishes to the walls to distinguish areas for different purposes of dining, entertainment and relaxation.

Also, by introducing glazed double doors at the entrance to the reception room, light was allowed to travel the full width of the space, emphasising the generous proportions and high ceilings. A keen eye for detail is evident in the designers for this project, considering the bathrooms' high specification fittings, bespoke upholstered leather on the bedroom wall panels, a Lutron mood lighting system and the underfloor heating throughout.
